The lyrics are further enhanced by vocal talents which please the ear and leave the songs happily dancing in your head.

Make no mistake this is Gay music. Gay in all interpretations of the word. Community specific and generally happy. That will in no way deter from the universal appeal. For these guys make their music natural and enveloping by adding a back beat which gets the blood flowing not just to your feet but also to your mind. When Mark & Dean address AIDS in "Is It Over Yet?" sensitive questioning, combined with accurate positive statements bring this battle realistically to a forefront of justified importance. Honest lyrics, a haunting melody, and statements with which we can identify, make for a positive re-enforcing effect.

The title track, "Man Of My Dreams", is an upbeat expression of the joy of love. Those in love as well as those still looking will relate to the exuberant message. An inclusive celebration of finding the one we all dream about, at the same time affirming that we all have the dream. The energy of the song will effect your psyche as well as your physical side as it flows through you and moves your mind and body happily into the fantasy/reality of the man of our dreams.

My personal favorite, "It’s Not The Same World" is a reflective journey through self acceptance, individuality, and the vision that we are all equal in that our lives are unique. It’s not the same world for any of us. We all have priorities, issues, problems, and challenges. This is what creates the beauty of human diversity. Labels, prejudices, and restrictions are shackles we place upon ourselves. This powerful message is delivered with Mark and Dean’s unique style which comforts, inspires, and should awaken.

Overall the CD carries a message of love, peace, freedom, and acceptance. The reality of which is presented openly and invitingly creating a spirit of joyful excitement. Not a call to arms, more of a call to understanding and reaching out to the world around us. Mark and Dean share with us their passions, beliefs, and talent, I am certainly glad they did! A definite must, not just for all GLBT music collections, also a must for all who take joy in what life offers, and that we do have the power of control through the awareness of each other.
