*****Peto CD Review
CD Title:
"In
My Place" Artist: Peto By Codi Up-tempo, fun, as well as introspective. Peto manages to bring many facets to his music. The great surprise is he actually shares them with you. Lyrics are poignant with a sense of humor and a little sarcasm. This is Pop and no doubt about it. Catchy melodies become fast friends as the flavor of both music and lyrics carry you away to |
Peto-a-gogo land. What is that you ask? To paraphrase Peto's own words, "...sweet and tasty pop, ....served up with catchy melodies and tight harmonies."
Six tracks complete the "In My Place" CD. Track number one; "Now That Your Gone" has a bittersweet yet sarcastic tone to addressing newfound personal freedom. Music and lyrics are both determined as well as insightful. Peto's musical journey just begins there. Dreams, honor, justice, hope and the hopeless, as well as a great bit of musical advice are all packaged in a POP fashion which will leave you satisfied, and anxious for more.
My personal favorite is track number 6 "Don't Take This Life For Granted." The feel both in the musical style and lyrics convey a well taken message. Delivered with colorful lyrics and saucy sound, good introspective fun!
The talents of Peto are well demonstrated. He sings all vocal parts as well as plays the guitar. You can literally feel his energy in all the music. A thumbs up for Peto and a must add to your collection. To find out more about Peto visit his website where you can also purchase this well worth it CD, "In My Place".
