Daniel Link takes an even bolder step forward into the pop/rock arena with "Ghost Stories".

Following the success of his debut EP "Out of the Silence", Daniel Link takes an even bolder step forward into the pop/rock arena with "Ghost Stories". With a full band in tote made up of some of the most gifted musicians in Austin Texas, including Eugene Goft form the Austin Symphony, Daniel has solidified his sound and craftsmanship with "Ghost Stories."

"This is the album I've always wanted to make," Daniel says, "it's a concept album...it's about surfacing into the ghost of who we really are...I've carefully written all the songs to tell a story. Each song leads into the next. It starts out very dark...turbulent...but it takes a turn towards growth and enlightenment as a result. All of us learn from our life experiences, and that is the message of this album. I'm really proud of the work we've done. My band totally "gets" the message of these songs, and that alone is what holds all the elements together. There's a lot of emotion and intensity in this work...those who have heard it already have said that listening to "Ghost Stories" is like taking a journey. That is a great satisfaction to me."

And it is a very strong album. There are no "filler" songs on "Ghost Stories," each tune holds its own. The overall 13 song package appeals to many different musical styles...you get edgy rock anthems like "Ghost," "Be Home Soon," "Tangled," and "Good Life," alternative pop with songs like "Seance," "Vision of Color," and "True Perspective," and even a taste of country with "Sweet Baby," and "Someone in Austin." Daniel has come of age with his eloquent song styling, and distinctive voice. And he has backed up his talent by bringing in Grammy nominee Fletcher Clark to mix and master.
