Sadie Stories is a great novel that is published on the web as an e-novel. It is an interesting concept for an artist to share his work, free for all. Each chapter was published serial style IE: Stephen King’s The Green Mile .

Maybe it would be best if I let Zachary tell you himself... (taken from his site) "A new Chapter is posted every 7 days, and the best part, it's totally free, and no downloading! Just click on the Chapter you wish to read, and you're there. It couldn't be any easier. Readers from across the globe watched as the story unfolded from October 2000, until March, 2001, when it came to a dramatic climax.", with chapter 17, ‘And Then There Were None’ The characters are so well developed that you will be reminded of friends from your own high school days.

Zachary’s Sadie Stories is set in Sadie Connecticut. Where a gay teenager, Corey, moves from San Francisco after his mother dies, to finish his senior year in  high school in a small town. Corey has always been excepted for who he is by himself, family and friends. Sadie is not the most liberal of towns, shall I say. I’m not saying that it’s a redneck town either. It’s too high class for that. It would be classified as closeted. That is until Corey moves to town. His mere presence rocks the world of several people.

There’s Gabe, the high school jock. All around nice guy, who becomes fascinated by the newcomer. Gabe has dated Rachel since the 7th grade. But now they are seniors and going to separate schools next fall. Just think about where all this will get you.

Thomas, an abused teen. After his mother abandons them, his father turns to alcohol. Thomas withdraws inward until he meets Corey. Thomas is an artist. When he sketches Corey, things get real interesting.

Angela, the overweight girl that is taunted by the others at school. That is until Corey helps her find her inner beauty. Brings it out in her and points it out to the same ones who have taunted her.

As I read each chapter I couldn’t wait to read the next. I didn’t get a chance to feel the excitement of waiting for the next chapter because I was turned on to it after the last chapter was published. It is still there for you to read now. But it may be taken down sometime in the future if it gets published in print. I highly recommend, this is internet enjoyment at its best!

I can’t wait for the next E-Novel, Beast, to be published August 5th 2001. Check out Zachary's Website.
